Winter Excursion

October 2025 – April 2026
This excursion is only held with a minimum of 10 passengers

Mt. Etna

The largest and most active volcano in Europe. The climb to the crater takes us through picturesque villages and an ever changing landscape. The lower slopes of the volcano are extremely fertile with groves of oranges, lemons and other Mediterranean flora and of course vines which produce Sicily’s best wines. We go through forests of chestnut trees which gradually give way to oak, beech, birch and pine.

Catania

Located at the foot of Mount Etna, Catania is a vibrant city rich in history, culture, and charm. Known for its striking Baroque architecture and lively markets, Catania offers a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Stroll along Via Etnea, explore Piazza del Duomo, and admire the iconic Elephant Fountain, the symbol of the city. Whether you're shopping, sightseeing, or simply enjoying a coffee in one of its many piazzas, Catania captures the true spirit of Sicily.
