The Virtu Ferries fast passenger and vehicle ferries, reach Pozzallo in under two hours, and Catania in just over three hours, with daily trips all year round.

Additionally, commercial clients and transporters, have the possibility of fast day return accompanied cargo service from/to both Pozzallo and Catania, any day of the week.

Commercial vehicles up to 19 metres in length (45 Tons maximum load), depart from Malta early in the morning on a daily basis, and the vehicles are back in Malta the same evening. Cargo departing from Pozzallo on our morning trips at 09.15, or from Catania at 0500hrs, is unloaded in Malta that same morning, and vehicles are back home in Sicily by early evening. Same day, short transit time is our hallmark.

The daily return schedule and short transit time have proved invaluable for various types of perishable and other time sensitive cargo, with the added advantage that the same vehicle can come and go on a daily basis between the two neighbouring islands.
